Right, well, it is a lovely day and instead of enjoying it, I'm clearing up after the Boxers. I was only out for a few hours this morning, doing important Village business, and when I got home they had destroyed their day bed.

I know that their bad behaviour is always my fault. They had their boredom busters, a warm, comfy bed and a kennel full of toys, but still they decided it was good and proper to play with the blankets.

Of course, they still wanted me to play ball with them; not likely. So we just cleared up the mess and had a cup of tea.

And if you're interested in the important Village business. I had to open the Church and deliver the Parish Magazines. But not just chucking them through the letter boxes; oh no, not around here. First, greet the friendly post man, wave to the happy farmer (and his wife), pop in on the old chap on the corner who summoned me to collect the cheque, admire the snow drops on the pretty verge, tip toe up the path being re-set, and finally stop for a chat with the couple at the school house. They both feel the cold, even though its a pleasant spring day. Their garden is looking very spring-like but they can't enjoy it.
Good neighbourliness is important and it was right for me to do it; it doesn't take much time, but it makes a difference to their day. So I can't be cross with the dogs, I was a little while, but I was doing good.
